19^th conference METAL 2010 was held on the 18^th - 20^th of May, 2010 at hotel Relax in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm.

Three papers and 2 commercial papers have been lectured in the plenary session. After the introductory plenary lectures, discussions occurred in 5 symposia.

In addition to plenary lectures, 177 lectures have been presented and 34 posters have been registered, in total. Articles for publication in the Proceedings without attending the conference, have been sent by 25 authors.

The conference took place despite the threat of floods in Roznov and driveways. For this reason, 30 participants withdrew their participation at the conference. In total, 252 participants attended the conference, from CR 205, Austria 1, Turkey 2, Korea 6, Poland 7, Slovakia 11, Russia 3, Iran 3, Chile 1, Romania 5, Algeria 3, Spain 2, Mexico 2 and Thailand 1.
